Oopiri Telugu Movie
Vikramaditya is quadriplegic who is totally bound to wheel chair. Despite being a millionaire, Vikramaditya only have the wheel chair as his companion. He brings in a care taker, Seenu (Karthi) who do not have any sympathy or emotions and always tries to go by wind. The rest of the story is all about how both of them find the meaning of life after meeting each other.
Nagarjuna once again delivered a stunning performance. Even though he do not move an inch for the most of the time, his eyes emote a 1000 emotions. Karthi on the other side is good as always with this excellent comedy timing and energy levels. Tamannah once again impresses with her perfect looks and performance. Prakash Raj, Ali, Jayasudha and other supporting cast are adequate. Anushka, Shriya and Adivi Sesh have nice cameos.
Vamshi Paidipalli came up with a very risky subject. He largely remained faithful to the French Film, Untouchables except some few changes to make the script suitable to our nativity. It has got a solid story and perfect screenplay to drive the point home. The noticeable weak links are the lag in the second half and the unnecessary gap episode. But a good climax masked it mostly. Despite being devoid of the usual commercial elements, the movie is largely entertaining and is likely to struck chord with the targeted A class audience.
The songs composed by Gopi Sunder are decent. The back ground score is good even though it gets loud at times. PS Vinod's camera work is excellent and the editing by Madhu is good. The Production Values of PVP Cinemas are very good. They have shown some very good locales to Telugu audience.
Oopiri has the right package of emotions which will give you a sense of satisfaction having witnessed some thing different and meaningful. Critically speaking it doesn't have too many flaws. Enjoy it.
